The SDGs are integrated and impact in any one sector affects the outcome of others. Education is central to achieving development and economic growth. We focus on collaborating with State governments to establish additional schools in rural areas and awareness creation through seminars and workshops. The efforts are not limited to children but also emancipating adults by offering vocational training and capacity building for an improved, stable income. Quality of education depends on infrastructure such as classrooms, water and sanitation facilities, availability of electricity, provision for digital learning, sports equipment and facilities, availability of chairs and desks, and softer elements such as presence of school staff, professional competencies of teachers, access to books and learning materials, among others. We build the capacities of teachers and parents/guardians of schoolchildren to sustain and better manage the functioning of their government school. Committee members are trained about their roles and responsibilities for refining the quality of education and improving and sustaining the school assets.
